THIS WAS THE
ARTWORK ON THE COVER of the 1989 cassette release. It was done using
a very early Macintosh art program called "Pixel Paint".
In the late nineteen-eighties, just being able to make digital images
in colour was a thrill: it seemed to be a huge big deal, just being
able to make multiple copies of the triple-triadic oriflamme that stretched
out into a perspectival field was enough to feel like a thrilling new
art form.
The triple-triangle sigil represents CHORONZON's personal geometromancy.
It is a sign which appeared to Demitria Monde Thraam while she was experiencing
a deep hallucinogenic 'über-state' in 1985. The glyph twirled on
a central axis - and represented the entity whose name is CHORONZON...this
was the introduction which he/it saw fit to make to to her, right before
fucking her brains out, quite literally, for about an hour of splendid
utter removal from all things mundane.
She had already begun to sign all works of art or writing with this
glyph.
With this cassette release, the west coast manifestation of project
Choronzon was borne.
